The city's police plan to ensure safety by implementing data-driven solutions to combat crime and improve public safety in all areas of Tel Aviv. In August 2018, the Police began rolling out facial recognition cameras along the promenade in order to strengthen infrastructure security in this important part of the city.
The Tel Aviv Police Department also engages with other law enforcement agencies around the world through agreements like Task Force 701 that shares intelligence and information related to combatting organized crime, terrorism, human trafficking, narcotics trafficking, and money laundering.
